JARDINE PACIFIC (AUST) PTY LTD
About Us
Jardine Pacific (Aust) Pty Ltd
Founded in 1974 in Melbourne by now retired director Reg McKay, JARPAC began as an importer and retailer in the apparel industry. With the opening of a retail outlet on Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise the following year, the company experienced rapid growth, expanding into national chain store accounts and extending operations to Singapore in 1976, followed by entry into the United States in 1978.
Over the next three decades, JARPAC diversified its operations into other industries. In 1996, the company developed specially fitted unmarked minibuses designed for VIP travel within the corporate, airline, and shipping sectors. This innovative approach quickly gained recognition and led to contracts with government and maritime organizations.
In 2002, JARPAC was engaged by Patricks to provide ground transport services for visiting US warships at the Port of Sydney—a service we continue to provide with the same dedication and professionalism to this day. Since then, our operations have expanded to all major Australian ports, including a number of regional locations, and we now serve not only the US Navy but the naval forces of multiple countries.
With Reg McKay now retired, his son Christopher McKay has taken over the business, continuing the legacy of excellence, professionalism, and commitment to safety that has defined JARPAC for decades, with safety and security being the highest priority. We only employ hand-picked, fully trained drivers who are retired police and military personnel. Their extensive professional training, real-world experience, and ability to remain calm under pressure enable them to respond confidently to any situation, ensuring the safety and security of every passenger.
We pride ourselves on operating the most reliable and professional naval ground transport service available. Our business is guided by strict standards, continuous monitoring, and a commitment to excellence. We aim to deliver a 5-star service, continually adapting to client needs, industry trends, and safety requirements to ensure the highest level of professionalism and reliability at all times.
